Hi! My name is Michaella (Michael + la) but now that we are friends, you can call me Mickie (like the Mouse). I am an explorer, reader, and gamer.
Here are some of my favorite core tenets I try to live by:
- Be a learner, even when the lessons are tough.
- Accept yourself as you accept others.
- Respect is earned; professionalism is deserved.
- Run a diagnostic, then adjust the settings.
My life at work…
I am a data-driven product leader with experience directing cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud and SaaS solutions. Skilled in product strategy, agile execution, and data-driven decision making, with expertise in AI, cloud architecture, and user-centered design to translate business objectives into impactful product outcomes.
My life at play…
A reader
I am a voracious reader, having read 282 books in 2024 and already at 184 books in 2025. I wasn’t always an avid reader but as I have evolved, I have found it to be a great escape from the world. I see stories in my mind as if they are movies.
A gamer
I was introduced to gaming at an early age by my brother, as I’m sure many younger sisters have been. It has only recently turned into a fun way to spend my free time and be creative at the same time. Every save file is a new opportunity to explore the landscape differently.
A Pokémon trainer
I am team Mystic all the way! You can find me hunting Pokémon in the wild and on the Nintendo Switch. I am never as happy as I am when I’m out collecting Pokémon for my bag.
A Skyrim dark elf
A dark elf at heart and an explorer by nature! I am awesome at falling for jump scares and can easily move from wandering around to hacker and slasher at a moments notice. You’ll hear “That is NOT how we treat friends” quite often.
A pet parent
Gilbert Grape is a schnauzer / terrier mix who stole my heart 10 years ago. He is hilarious and scruffy.
His specialty is team building activities and he is more than happy to provide advice to anyone needing help.
Georgianna Valora Smushy Face has, as you can imagine, a smushy face. She is part Shar-pei, part mystery. She is sweet and yet bossy with her big brother.
Her specialty is whatever I happen to be working on, whether that is product management or in the cloud.
